At Sorted by Sammy, we’re committed to making our website — www.sortedbysammy.ca — accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves an easy, enjoyable experience when visiting our site, just like they do in an organized, functional space at home.
 
What Web Accessibility Is:
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and with the help of assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice recognition software, and keyboard navigation.
 
Accessibility Adjustments on This Site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and made adjustments to support assistive technologies and accessible browsing. As part of this effort, we have:

  • Used Wix’s Accessibility Wizard to identify and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language and content order for all pages

  • Defined clear heading structures to make navigation easier

  • Added alternative text to all meaningful images

  • Applied color combinations that meet required contrast ratios

  • Reduced motion and animations for a more comfortable browsing experience

  • Ensured keyboard-friendly navigation

  • Made all videos, audio, and files as accessible as possible
     

Declaration of Partial Compliance
Some third-party content or features (such as embedded videos, social media feeds, or booking tools) may not fully comply with accessibility standards as they are controlled by external providers. We continue to work with these services to improve accessibility wherever possible.

Our physical services take place in client homes or spaces, and accessibility arrangements are tailored to each client’s unique environment. We ensure communication, planning, and consultation are accessible and inclusive for all clients.
